I have begun with the amateur radio as a schoolboy on 01.09.1968.

With my best friend Helmut DL8CYG (RIP) I learned the Morsecode.

In 1970 I received my SWL number DM-5650/G.

I have filed the Radio-Licence test in October 1971.
My first callsign was DM4SOG (23.01.1972)
later: Y55XG - Y21RG - DL6MGB and current DJ2RG !

DXCC Standing since 1972: with all my call
mix Mode: wkd 348 / conf 340 ( current and deleted )
with current call DJ2RG: conf. 333

Since January 1, 2021 I am no longer a member of the DARC.
